In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind volibears's goalkeeper Aurelio Malatesta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 9th minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Jonathan Venegas advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-2 in the 9th minute. 14 minutes into the game, Maximilian Viklund recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Maximilian Viklund showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. After 21 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Venegas. Diderik Pepping came free with the goalkeeper in the 22nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jonathan Ferrant could save by the left post. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye volibears's goalie prevented a goal. A hard shot 27 in the game by Diderik Pepping from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdulkadir Sungun in the 29th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, volibears's Maximilian Viklund ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. volibears's Aurelio Malatesta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 41st minute of play. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Maximilian Viklund tried to sneak it across the goal line. When volibears's Maximilian Viklund in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. 45 minutes into the match, volibears's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Aurelio Malatesta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 46 minutes, Guillermo Mariano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the volibears players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 46th minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Abdulkadir Sungun from long distance, 47 minutes into the match, got Jonathan Ferrant's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. After 52 played minutes volibears got a freekick which was hit by Maximilian Viklund. After a rather tough play, volibears's Jacob van der Valk got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 59thth minute of the game Diderik Pepping who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aurelio Malatesta made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. volibears's Pacorro Fernández was substituted for Edmond Péquignot. Edmond Péquignot hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute, Maximilian Viklund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The volibears fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. A collision led to volibears getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Orlando Abeita hit a great ball. A hard shot 77 in the game by Tomas Illescas from a close distance when the talented Aurelio Malatesta managed to make a qualified save. volibears's players were relieved. Maximilian Viklund scored 4-2 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 86 minutes into the game, volibears's Maximilian Viklund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. Orlando Abeita kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Abdulkadir Sungun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximilian Viklund in the 94th minute of play. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The volibears fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
