A hard shot 10 in the game by Taaniel Hill from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ladislao Salvidor in the 17th minute. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Maciej Trzaskoma kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Taaniel Hill's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Taaniel Hill helped the player get up and apologised. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Taaniel Hill was the one to do the kick off. Taaniel Hill scored 2-1 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Brown Puerto Madryn's Flavio Pirro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Brown Puerto Madryn from getting a goal against them. In the 57th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Brown Puerto Madryn's Flavio Pirro managed to reach the ball for a save. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Salvidor in the 61st minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ladislao Salvidor came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 65 played minutes Brown Puerto Madryn got a freekick which was hit by Eleuterio Sedeni. Brown Puerto Madryn's Rodrigo De Paul was substituted for Pál Dömötör. Brown Puerto Madryn's Gerd Treial was substituted for Ladislao Salvidor. Eleuterio Sedeni hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute, Daniel Zorita sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Brown Puerto Madryn's Flavio Pirro didn't even have to move. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Taaniel Hill, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Taaniel Hill in the 70th minute of the match. Taaniel Hill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brown Puerto Madryn made a substitution. Billy Drake replaced Taaniel Hill. If Billy Drake had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Billy Drake, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Billy Drake's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Eleuterio Sedeni kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 78th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerd Treial in the 88th minute of play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Billy Drake in the 90th minute of play. Gerd Treial recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
