Felix Garrido made in the 3rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Albardón F.C's 张星彬. In the 7thth minute of the game Mariano Lacasa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Albardón F.C's Geronimo Eleazar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Geronimo Eleazar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thiago Pliego was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Aureliano Buendia capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aureliano Buendia really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chile's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gustavo Barros Schelotto was slow to take the kick. During this time Albardón F.C's players had a chance to rest. 25 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliano Buendia came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 26 minutes of play, Albardón F.C's Xandro Sacristán made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thiago Pliego was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mariano Lacasa in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geronimo Eleazar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Geronimo Eleazar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 38th minute of play forced Albardón F.C's goalkeeper Geronimo Eleazar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute, Mariano Lacasa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 47th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Carballar to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mariano Lacasa to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geronimo Eleazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Geronimo Eleazar made a huge save. Albardón F.C's Ivan Gaizko was substituted for Xandro Sacristán. In the 60th minute Chile were awarded a corner. Mariano Lacasa went to the cornerflag to take it. Geronimo Eleazar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Carballar, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 66th minute there was a penalty for Albardón F.C. Mariano Lacasa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. 94 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Geronimo Eleazar. Albardón F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Lacasa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Buendia in the 97th minute of play. Albardón F.C succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Chile had controlled the match.
