Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Zdzislaw Obuchowicz got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Lokomotiv Plovdiv's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Krum Nikolchov came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven Brask, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute, Sven Brask reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. The goal made the score 1-0. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. After 13 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hélder Lago who took care of the corner kick. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven Brask, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven Brask in the 17th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Zdzislaw Obuchowicz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Zdzislaw Obuchowicz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mirolyub Dragoychev in the 31st minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Sven Brask sent off a good shot on target. Zdzislaw Obuchowicz struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lokomotiv Plovdiv. 39 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Krum Nikolchov. Lokomotiv Plovdiv's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Illescas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 43 minutes into the match, Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Zdzislaw Obuchowicz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Sven Brask slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-1 after 45 minutes of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sven Brask stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Sven Brask made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. In the 56th minute, Hélder Lago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zdzislaw Obuchowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 75 minutes into the match, Lokomotiv Plovdiv's Zdzislaw Obuchowicz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 76th minute, Facundo Nazario got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Facundo Nazario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Krum Nikolchov having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zdzislaw Obuchowicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute, Patricio Costa had to leave the field with a concussion. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hélder Lago during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Lokomotiv Plovdiv was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hélder Lago didn't get a good kick on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Lokomotiv Plovdiv fully deserved thier win.
