Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Jules Barrett started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute, Jules Barrett ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Rosario Cardona took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jules Barrett in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 18th minute of play forced Azzurri FC's goalkeeper Hando Festini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Azzurri FC's Carlos Tello slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 3-1 after 27 minutes of play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stan Pitre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hando Festini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Azzurri FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wally Lécuyer didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomas Illescas during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. After 45 minutes, Jules Barrett made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

With an all-out effort, Venezuela's Hando Festini threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Patricio Costa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Jose Correa fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Jose Correa a yellow card for diving instead. After 54 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. The supporters of Azzurri FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Tello came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Azzurri FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nelson Jodion didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patricio Costa's late challenge caught a Azzurri FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patricio Costa helped the player get up and apologised. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jules Barrett in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. After 90 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Azzurri FC! After having played for 93 minutes, Thaddeus Ryan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Azzurri FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thaddeus Ryan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Azzurri FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
