An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 11th minute of play forced LA VIOLA's goalkeeper Felix Martinsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, LA VIOLA's Mihăiţă Cârstoiu got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute of the match Daniel Zorita sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Felix Martinsson skillfully saved the ball. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 23 minutes, Osvald Uter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LA VIOLA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osvald Uter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 26 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Felix Martinsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the LA VIOLA defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Felix Martinsson. The LA VIOLA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felix Martinsson should have stopped the shot. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Osvald Uter in the 40th minute. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Albert Rutledge stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Antonio Arias hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sune Dahlberg in the 52nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Felix Martinsson firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Sancho in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felix Martinsson saved LA VIOLA from getting behind. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sune Dahlberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. LA VIOLA's Felix Martinsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 66th minute of play. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Martinsson having to interfere. LA VIOLA's Felix Martinsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 73rd minute of play. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Felix Martinsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Rutledge in the 83rd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, LA VIOLA's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Felix Martinsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, LA VIOLA's Isak Ahlbeck got a free kick in the 85th minute. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Felix Martinsson made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Rutledge in the 89th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Rutledge in the 89th minute of the match. After 91 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sune Dahlberg who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ecuador's goalie and right to Henrik Wickander. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ecuador's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 96 minutes into the game, Agustín Saelices recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Felix Martinsson. Agustín Saelices showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
