LA SCALONETA FC's Santo Beturian got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Haiti defense, Nestor Salvino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Noel Seide. The Haiti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Noel Seide should have stopped the shot. When Nestor Salvino came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the LA SCALONETA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nestor Salvino couldn't finish the play. Carolo Ubelteso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noel Seide having to interfere. Santo Beturian scored 4-0 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Noel Seide, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
