Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Francisco Seco started the match with the kick off. Horaţiu Petran stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francisco Seco's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Zoltán Varga might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joaquin Gayoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zoltán Varga ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 9th minute Walmir Breckenfeld shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 10 in the game by Walmir Breckenfeld from a close distance when the talented Joaquin Gayoso managed to make a qualified save. Uruguay's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Gyál United's Zoltán Varga got a free kick in the 13th minute. Walmir Breckenfelds short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Joaquin Gayoso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Walmir Breckenfeld struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Joaquin Gayoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gyál United. Horaţiu Petran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Seco in the 22nd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Gyál United's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Seco came free, but Horaţiu Petran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Konstantinos Kroustallis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gyál United's supporters rose to their feet, but Konstantinos Kroustallis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Gayoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 32 minutes, Zoltán Varga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gyál United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zoltán Varga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zoltán Varga's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 37thth minute, Joaquin Gayoso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 40 minutes into the match, Francisco Seco notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Gyál United's Horaţiu Petran. Horaţiu Petran was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 42 minutes, Bruno Beldad mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Uruguay and the Gyál United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bruno Beldad hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Joaquin Gayoso was out of position in the 46 minute of play, and Walmir Breckenfeld capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Walmir Breckenfeld really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Walmir Breckenfeld stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Walmir Breckenfeld in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Camilo Covarrubias hit a great ball. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walmir Breckenfeld, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Walmir Breckenfeld's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. The supporters of Gyál United booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Gisbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Gyál United's Walmir Breckenfeld. But to his dismay, Walmir Breckenfeld quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Francisco Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Horaţiu Petran made a huge save. If Walmir Breckenfeld had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 80 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Beldad. When Walmir Breckenfeld came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Gyál United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walmir Breckenfeld couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walmir Breckenfeld in the 84th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Walmir Breckenfeld took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Francisco Seco struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Horaţiu Petran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zoltán Varga went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Gyál United fans cheered their team off the field, for while Uruguay had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
