Miguel Miralles hit a great ball. In the 7th minute, Felipe Ros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caner Bera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomas Berganza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Adnan Öztay tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Caner Bera fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ▪︎ɪɴᴄᴇᴘᴛıᴏɴ ᴄɪᴛʏ's protests and gave Caner Bera a yellow card for diving instead. After 24 played minutes ▪︎ɪɴᴄᴇᴘᴛıᴏɴ ᴄɪᴛʏ got a freekick which was hit by Caner Bera. 25 minutes into the match, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Geir-Inge von Fraunhofen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Baybars Berkman kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Batu Ağaverdi hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. The supporters of Panama booed when ▪︎ɪɴᴄᴇᴘᴛıᴏɴ ᴄɪᴛʏ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Batu Ağaverdi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geir-Inge von Fraunhofen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 42nd minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, ▪︎ɪɴᴄᴇᴘᴛıᴏɴ ᴄɪᴛʏ's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Geir-Inge von Fraunhofen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adnan Öztay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Cotilla having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Berganza made a kick off. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Aaron Barrios hit a great ball. Octavio Frascuelo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute, Caner Bera left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ▪︎ɪɴᴄᴇᴘᴛıᴏɴ ᴄɪᴛʏ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. ▪︎ɪɴᴄᴇᴘᴛıᴏɴ ᴄɪᴛʏ's Geir-Inge von Fraunhofen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save ▪︎ɪɴᴄᴇᴘᴛıᴏɴ ᴄɪᴛʏ from getting a goal against them. 74 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Caner Bera came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isidoro Sarmiento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Geir-Inge von Fraunhofen made a huge save. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adnan Öztay, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute.
