Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Réda Kolb in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Efrain Moruga got a free kick in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Mikolaj Biraga notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Mauro Boselli took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Benito Sanz to make any attempt to save it. Mauro Boselli received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benito Sanz came out and tried to block the shot, but Mauro Boselli slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 21st minute. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Mauro Boselli sent off a good shot on target. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Réda Kolb in the 32nd minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Réda Kolb came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 33 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alan Moruga. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Mauro Boselli sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Alcocer in the 40th minute of play forced Shuspendemo's goalkeeper Ismael Vellito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alan Moruga got a free kick in the 44th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Shuspendemo made a substitution. Lisandro Martínez replaced Gaspar Ihazintu. Mikolaj Biraga took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. 55 minutes into the game, Shuspendemo's Enrique Silban nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Réda Kolb struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shuspendemo. Shuspendemo's Diego Gerber was substituted for Mikolaj Biraga. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 9-0 when Mauro Boselli sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Réda Kolb in the 65th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Mauro Boselli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. Shuspendemo's Venancio Kepa was substituted for Réda Kolb. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 11-0 when Venancio Kepa sped through Costa Rica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. 74 minutes into the match, Diego Gerber had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Diego Gerber was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-0. 79 minutes into the game, Enrique Silban cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 13-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 85th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lautaro Puig to maneuver through the defense. In the 90thth minute of the game Mauro Boselli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brooks Willison in the 91st minute of the match. When Shuspendemo's Venancio Kepa in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Costa Rica's goalie prevented a goal. Alan Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Shuspendemo's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
