Melchor Cordaro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastian Villa in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Melchor Cordaro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Christian Sancho kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After 18 played minutes Shuspendemo got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Millano. Shuspendemo's Melchor Cordaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute of the game Ivan Navarro made a throw-in which Sebastian Villa played forward. Valentín Carvallo hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Shuspendemo's Melchor Cordaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 27th minute of play. Melchor Cordaro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Melchor Cordaro stood somewhat misplaced when Edmundo Espiga came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 53 minute. Shuspendemo's Melchor Cordaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Shuspendemo from getting a goal against them. Melchor Cordaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Sancho in the 58th minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Melchor Cordaro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. With his leg Melchor Cordaro managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Melchor Cordaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Villa in the 66th minute of the match. A hard shot by Edmundo Espiga from long distance, 68 minutes into the match, got Melchor Cordaro's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Edmundo Espiga who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Melchor Cordaro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 71 minutes into the match, Shuspendemo's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Melchor Cordaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melchor Cordaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Villa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Milagros Cabal fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Honduras's protests and gave Milagros Cabal a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Shuspendemo booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milagros Cabal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Melchor Cordaro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 91 minutes into the match, Honduras's Sebastian Villa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Melchor Cordaro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 93 minutes of play, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Melchor Cordaro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Honduras's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
