Albeiro Usuriaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 16 minutes into the match, USA's goalkeeper Marco Day had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedro Domingues. After having played for 19 minutes, Cassius Byrne managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. USA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cassius Byrne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When USA's Cassius Byrne in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Isótopos V.M.'s goalie prevented a goal. Domingo Oihenarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Cassius Byrne's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ignacio Di Stasi was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albeiro Usuriaga in the 56th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Domingues in the 60th minute of play. After having played for 63 minutes, Albeiro Usuriaga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Isótopos V.M.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Albeiro Usuriaga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Isótopos V.M.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Cassius Byrne scored to the left of an out of position Ignacio Di Stasi, making the score, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Albeiro Usuriaga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Isótopos V.M.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Albeiro Usuriaga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Day breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Albeiro Usuriaga scored 1-1 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marco Day, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. USA's Khalid Parry was substituted for Monty Rogers. USA's Marco Day played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albeiro Usuriaga in the 85th minute of play. Albeiro Usuriaga scored 2-1 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marco Day, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Albeiro Usuriaga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. USA's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Isótopos V.M. had won, even though USA had held more of the ball.
