Alfredo Ferrant made in the 12th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Eduardo Fontirroig immediately put the ball in play. 13 minutes into the match, Aesir FC FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Fontirroig came free, but Dé Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute Mario Fernandino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dé Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Aesir FC FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dé Reis should have stopped the shot. Mario Fernandino hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After the first half Bolivia were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
