Spectators: 52 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) Lorenzo Cazalla's late challenge caught a BK Gubbhöft's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lorenzo Cazalla helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of BK Gubbhöft booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Cazalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th match minute, BK Gubbhöft was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wictor Walroth to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Mancebo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Folke Hybbert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 14 minutes into the match, BK Gubbhöft's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Folke Hybbert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Joel Gaona got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Folke Hybbert quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 21 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Folke Hybbert. BK Gubbhöft's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lautaro Mancebo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 25 minutes into the game, Jonas Bergdal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BK Gubbhöft's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. In the 25th minute, Jonas Bergdal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in BK Gubbhöft's zone, Luca Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Folke Hybbert came out of the goal and Luca Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joacim Låsberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. In the 30th minute, Joel Gaona made a precise shot to the right of Folke Hybbert. BK Gubbhöft's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. BK Gubbhöft's Folke Hybbert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 34th minute of play. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by BK Gubbhöft's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Luca Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Folke Hybbert quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 36 minutes into the match, BK Gubbhöft's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Folke Hybbert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Alberto Tafalla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 47 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Joel Gaona.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennis Enström in the 56th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lorenzo Cazalla was shown his second yellow card after 56 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 55th minute, one of Mexico:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mexico. Alberto Tafalla kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After 62 played minutes BK Gubbhöft got a freekick which was hit by Alf Benet. Lautaro Mancebo struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Folke Hybbert didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Alberto Tafalla who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Folke Hybbert when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mexico's Alberto Tafalla got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Felix Luque got a free kick in the 70th minute. After 75 played minutes BK Gubbhöft got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Bergdal. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 81st minute, Alberto Tafalla fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Folke Hybbert, passed just outside the right post. In the 83rd minute of the match, Luca Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Folke Hybbert was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. During the 88th minute of the match Jonas Bergdal completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jonas Bergdal a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 89th match minute, BK Gubbhöft was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Bergdal to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Lautaro Mancebo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Folke Hybbert. That made the score 1-4 in the 90 minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Facundo Cadaval hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lautaro Mancebo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mexico's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
