In the 7th match minute, Ligeiro F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chico Souto to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the match, Adelino Ramalho notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Frank Tasso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ligeiro F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Tasso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 24 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Frank Tasso capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Frank Tasso really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Ligeiro F.C's Hamílton Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 31st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adelino Ramalho got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Frank Tasso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rigoberto Mina during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 43 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. 44 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adelino Ramalho. In the 45th minute of the match, Frank Tasso tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonathan Ferrant saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A hard shot 48 in the game by Adelino Ramalho from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Tomas Illescas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ligeiro F.C's goalkeeper Hamílton Chaves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adelino Ramalho in the 55th minute of play. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Hamílton Chaves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adelino Ramalho went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. The throw-in from Caio Koehler in the 69th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas. In the 72nd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Gaos to maneuver through the defense. After 73 played minutes Ligeiro F.C got a freekick which was hit by Betinho Trancoso. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adelino Ramalho in the 77th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Jonathan Venegas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ligeiro F.C's Alessandro Costa was substituted for Elói Barreto. Jonathan Venegas kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Chico Souto charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chico Souto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Ligeiro F.C's Chico Souto got a free kick in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandro Paulista in the 86th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ligeiro F.C's goalie prevented a goal. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Tasso in the 89th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Tasso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute, Frank Tasso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
