In the 20th minute Dale Dolar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marciano Idacio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patricio Ugutz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Loren in the 22nd minute of play. Marciano Idacio made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Dale Dolar sent off a good shot on target. Barcellos Mineiro FC were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after Pretorianos FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Amílton Loyola took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Pretorianos FC's goalie and right to Clóvis Vieira. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Pretorianos FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. With a little luck, Pretorianos FC's Marciano Idacio got control of the ball when Dale Dolar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dale Dolar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Marciano Idacio made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dale Dolar in the 39th minute of play forced Pretorianos FC's goalkeeper Marciano Idacio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abelardo Veloso hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Nicanor Demario came free in the 48th minute and tried to tip the ball over Patricio Ugutz, but to the joy of Barcellos Mineiro FC's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. Pretorianos FC made a substitution. Primitivo Neron replaced Adan Pueblo.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dale Dolar was the one to do the kick off. After 54 played minutes Barcellos Mineiro FC got a freekick which was hit by Dale Dolar. After having played for 56 minutes, Primitivo Neron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pretorianos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Primitivo Neron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dale Dolar in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marciano Idacio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 64 minutes into the match, Pretorianos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dale Dolar came free, but Marciano Idacio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sabino Valverde's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patricio Ugutz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Sabino Valverde managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pretorianos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sabino Valverde was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patricio Ugutz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Carlos-Henrique Casemiro was substituted for Tião Paraíba. Barcellos Mineiro FC made a substitution. Jorge Carrascal replaced Dale Dolar. 81 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Jorge Carrascal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marciano Idacio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marciano Idacio came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Barcellos Mineiro FC's Jorge Carrascal. But to his dismay, Jorge Carrascal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Carlos-Henrique Casemiro hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. If Jorge Carrascal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Marciano Idacio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Carrascal in the 92nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabino Valverde in the 96th minute of play forced Barcellos Mineiro FC's goalkeeper Patricio Ugutz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barcellos Mineiro FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
