Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Joel Gaona got the match started through his kick off. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Angelo Assunção tried to sneak it across the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Şükrü Yazargil. Anselmo Gama showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. MACAU. F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Mexico's Luca Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Anselmo Gama despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 16 minutes into the match, MACAU. F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Zorita came free, but Anselmo Gama reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bater Pivetta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Şükrü Yazargil got free with Dante Lacasa in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Şükrü Yazargil scored 1-0 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dante Lacasa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Albino Cugat showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 29 minute of play. In the 34th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. Albino Cugat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şükrü Yazargil in the 39th minute of play. Angelo Assunção kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Assunção in the 44th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anselmo Gama showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 46th minute of the match.

After some careless play in the Mexico defense, Angelo Assunção kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. The Mexico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Lacasa should have stopped the shot. MACAU. F.C's Daniel Correia was substituted for Aloísio Esteves. Anselmo Gama made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 79th minute of play. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after MACAU. F.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. The corner ended in Joel Gaona almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but MACAU. F.C's Anselmo Gama did a great save. Joel Gaona might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anselmo Gama. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joel Gaona ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 87th minute, Jhonny Smart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lautaro Mancebo might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anselmo Gama. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lautaro Mancebo ran back to his position shaking his head. After 91 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Tafalla. 94 minutes into the match, MACAU. F.C's goalkeeper Anselmo Gama had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. After a rather tough play, MACAU. F.C's Lourenço Vilanova got a free kick in the 95th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The MACAU. F.C fans cheered their team off the field, for while Mexico had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
