With an extended leg and a bit of luck Narciso Fix prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Anjullan AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Narciso Fix should have stopped the shot. In the 34th minute, Tomas Berganza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Panama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Anjullan AFC's goalkeeper Narciso Fix, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 39 minutes into the match, Tomas Berganza notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Anjullan AFC's Narciso Fix. After the first half Panama were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ambrosio Urbes made a kick off. In the 95th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Fix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Anjullan AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Panama were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
