After a rather tough play, Gimnasia LP's Melquiades Hondo got a free kick in the 91st minute. Angelino Urdin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Gimnasia LP support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
