Demonde Jacobson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Demonde Jacobson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Belmiro Quadros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Demonde Jacobson made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Greg Marshall sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Belmiro Quadros got free with Demonde Jacobson in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Greg Marshall scored 6-0 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Demonde Jacobson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 45th minute Belmiro Quadros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demonde Jacobson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by Jamaica's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Belmiro Quadros was slow to take the kick. During this time Itapeipu AD's players had a chance to rest. Itapeipu AD's Belmiro Quadros was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Demonde Jacobson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jamaica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 48th minute, when Bebeto de Carvalho scored to the left of an out of position Demonde Jacobson, making the score, 7-0.

The wind increased when Bebeto de Carvalho made the kick off in the second half. Demonde Jacobson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Belmiro Quadros in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Belmiro Quadros made a precise shot to the right of Demonde Jacobson. Jamaica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Bebeto de Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itapeipu AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Bebeto de Carvalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Demonde Jacobson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 68 minutes into the game, Bebeto de Carvalho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 11-0. Demonde Jacobson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Greg Marshall scored 12-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Demonde Jacobson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 77th minute, Belmiro Quadros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Demonde Jacobson was frozen by the shot and now it was 13-0. After 80 minutes of play, Itapeipu AD's Belmiro Quadros made it 14-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Demonde Jacobson was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 82nd minute, Silvinho de Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Demonde Jacobson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Belmiro Quadros in the 87th minute of the match. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Greg Marshall in the 88th minute of play.
