Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Maksymilian Oliszewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alberto Tafalla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maksymilian Oliszewski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Maksymilian Oliszewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 8th minute of the match. After 11 minutes of play, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maksymilian Oliszewski was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to SMOCZANKA MIELEC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Cezary Chrzan hit a great ball. In the 17th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maksymilian Oliszewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Giraldo in the 20th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Alberto Tafalla's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maksymilian Oliszewski was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Roberto Lewandowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. In the 26th minute, Roberto Lewandowski reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dante Lacasa. The goal made the score 1-1. 28 minutes into the match, SMOCZANKA MIELEC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Maksymilian Oliszewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Tafalla took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maksymilian Oliszewski. Maksymilian Oliszewski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Dalmo Munhoz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bertil Ekström hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Roberto Lewandowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Giraldo in the 38th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SMOCZANKA MIELEC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cezary Chrzan in the 39th minute. The corner ended in Roberto Lewandowski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa did a great save. Maksymilian Oliszewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 44th minute of the match. In the 45th match minute, SMOCZANKA MIELEC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalmo Munhoz to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute, Dalmo Munhoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dalmo Munhoz hit a great freekick 49 minutes into the match. After the first half Mexico were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

54 minutes into the match, Roberto Lewandowski notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maksymilian Oliszewski having to interfere. Maksymilian Oliszewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 58th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Maksymilian Oliszewski threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Gaona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 60 minutes into the match, SMOCZANKA MIELEC's goalkeeper Maksymilian Oliszewski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. 62 minutes into the match, SMOCZANKA MIELEC's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Zorita came free, but Maksymilian Oliszewski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Giraldo in the 64th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Lewandowski in the 69th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the game, SMOCZANKA MIELEC's Oscar Giraldo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. SMOCZANKA MIELEC made a substitution. Timos Kazantzou replaced Oscar Giraldo. After 78 played minutes SMOCZANKA MIELEC got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Malafaia. Maksymilian Oliszewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the SMOCZANKA MIELEC defense, Joel Gaona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maksymilian Oliszewski. The SMOCZANKA MIELEC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maksymilian Oliszewski should have stopped the shot. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Maksymilian Oliszewski threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Gaona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 83 minutes into the game, Alberto Tafalla was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mexico's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SMOCZANKA MIELEC the free kick. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timos Kazantzou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mexico's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cezary Chrzan was slow to take the kick. During this time SMOCZANKA MIELEC's players had a chance to rest. In the 89th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Mexico's Luca Zorita getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Maksymilian Oliszewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Thanks to some nice moves Lautaro Mancebo could shoot a difficult shot in the 93rd minute, which Maksymilian Oliszewski however easily saved by the left post. Luca Rouco kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
