Camilo Freixa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Piara Batistuta went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Frans Kämpe hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Bergeikers's 肖建云 slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Camilo Freixa. That made the score 2-0 after 16 minutes of play. After some careless play in the Bolivia defense, 肖建云 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Camilo Freixa. The Bolivia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camilo Freixa should have stopped the shot. Piara Batistuta might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Camilo Freixa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Piara Batistuta ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 42nd minute, Piara Batistuta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Camilo Freixa was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Piara Batistuta might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Camilo Freixa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Piara Batistuta ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Bolivia's Camilo Freixa got control of the ball when Piara Batistuta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Frans Kämpe kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Eduardo Fontirroig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

In the 52nd minute, Piara Batistuta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Camilo Freixa was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Piara Batistuta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Camilo Freixa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Piara Batistuta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 62 minutes into the game, Piara Batistuta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Camilo Freixa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Camilo Freixa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Piara Batistuta in the 65th minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Piara Batistuta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bergeikers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. 81 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goal looked a bit too open when Piara Batistuta came free, but Camilo Freixa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Piara Batistuta put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Camilo Freixa. If Piara Batistuta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Bolivia getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Joshua Miralles hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute, Piara Batistuta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Bolivia's zone, Otto Klasen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Camilo Freixa came out of the goal and Otto Klasen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bergeikers walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
