Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Axel Tasis got the match started through his kick off. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Emil Rzeszutek who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Benito Sanz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 28th minute, Eliseo Noboa made a precise shot to the right of Andrea Pirlo. Radomiak Radom's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Tasis in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrea Pirlo saved Radomiak Radom from getting behind. If Lautaro Puig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, Eliseo Noboa made a precise shot to the right of Andrea Pirlo. Radomiak Radom's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. 47 minutes into the game, Alan Moruga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Radomiak Radom the free kick. The supporters of Radomiak Radom booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Radomiak Radom's Tomasz Hajto tried to score from far away in the 48th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Emil Rzeszutek made the kick off in the second half. Andrea Pirlo made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Lautaro Puig sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Eliseo Noboa hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the game, Lautaro Puig cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Andrea Pirlo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 88 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alan Moruga. Dawid Parajewski took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dawid Parajewski went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-5 was the resulting score. The Radomiak Radom supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Costa Rica's performance. The match ended with a win for Costa Rica.
