An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 45th minute of play forced F.C.Bacha's goalkeeper Vicente Abrantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Santos Guillelme was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, F.C.Bacha's Hermano Viveiros got a free kick in the 94th minute. Ecuador were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
