Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Santos Guillelme took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 10th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Abrantes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vicente Abrantes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Abrantes having to interfere. Vicente Abrantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 17th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Camilo Gisbert got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute of the match, Palmiro Colaço got a very nice opportunity to score, but Julio Vera was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Guillelme in the 24th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Santos Guillelme came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute of the match F.C.Bacha got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Balendín Rubio ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind F.C.Bacha's goalkeeper Vicente Abrantes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after F.C.Bacha's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Santos Guillelme blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Palmiro Colaço got free with Julio Vera in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 47th minute of the match F.C.Bacha got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Balendín Rubio ran over to the corner to take the kick. Palmiro Colaço was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vicente Abrantes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Abrantes having to interfere. 65 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Vicente Abrantes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vicente Abrantes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristian Sancho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 68 minute of play. F.C.Bacha's Vicente Abrantes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save F.C.Bacha from getting a goal against them. 71 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vicente Abrantes. Daniel Zorita showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. F.C.Bacha made a substitution. Hermano Viveiros replaced Palmiro Colaço. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermano Viveiros in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Santos Guillelme made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind F.C.Bacha's goalkeeper Vicente Abrantes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 98 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Arias. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 99th minute to try and stop a shot by F.C.Bacha's Hermano Viveiros. But to his dismay, Hermano Viveiros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than F.C.Bacha throughout the match.
