In the 7th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvin Lundgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 8 minutes HİSAR's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Peru's Luz Tejedor to fire away a dangerous shot which Edvin Lundgren despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to HİSAR getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Yüce Taştekin hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milagros Fraga in the 11th minute of play forced HİSAR's goalkeeper Edvin Lundgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Luz Tejedor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edvin Lundgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Silviano Huilcaman came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mehmet Anıl Açıker got free with Rolando Noboa in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edvin Lundgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luz Tejedor, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edvin Lundgren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Iker Eguzki, made in the 44th minute of the game. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Silviano Huilcaman was the one to do the kick off. Milagros Fraga came free with the goalkeeper in the 55th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Edvin Lundgren could save by the left post. In the 57th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luz Tejedor to maneuver through the defense. Edvin Lundgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 84th minute of play. Edvin Lundgren made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Milagros Fraga sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the HİSAR defense, Julian Murillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edvin Lundgren. The HİSAR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edvin Lundgren should have stopped the shot. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. HİSAR's Güvenç Deveci was substituted for Silviano Huilcaman. HİSAR made a substitution. Su Zhen replaced Mehmet Anıl Açıker. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Peru had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
