Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Helge Brun made the kick off which started today's match. Alf Tempel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Åke Ekelund in the 3rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Rapid Wien's Werner Frach got a free kick in the 5th minute. When Helge Brun came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Eleven Nation Army fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Helge Brun couldn't finish the play. Helge Brun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Alf Tempel made a huge save. In the 17th match minute, Rapid Wien was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julius Reuter to maneuver through the defense. Qian Xing Wei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mirco Kähler, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Alf Tempel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Åke Ekelund in the 24th minute. After 25 minutes Rapid Wien's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Åke Ekelund who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Åke Ekelund almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Rapid Wien's Alf Tempel did a great save. In the 25th match minute, Eleven Nation Army was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olof Högström to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute, Olof Högström fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. Alf Tempel was a little too slow when Viggo Lundkvist got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 1-0. Qian Xing Wei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Werner Frach in the 33rd minute of the match. Qian Xing Wei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Hagedorn, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Uwe Kitzbichler made a great header on Rapid Wien's corner, it was just that Eleven Nation Army's Qian Xing Wei managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Eleven Nation Army's goalkeeper Qian Xing Wei, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Daniel Hagedorn blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Qian Xing Wei having to make a save. In the 42nd minute, Otto Budjana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Qian Xing Wei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Hagedorn in the 44th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
Albert Kraft hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. 52 minutes into the match, Eleven Nation Army's Åke Ekelund sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alf Tempel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 54th minute Daniel Hagedorn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Qian Xing Wei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Werner Frach's late challenge caught a Eleven Nation Army's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Werner Frach helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Rapid Wien getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Werner Frach hit a great ball. Daniel Hagedorn struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Qian Xing Wei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rapid Wien. Daniel Hagedorn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mirco Kähler took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Qian Xing Wei. Qian Xing Wei dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Rapid Wien's Alf Tempel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Helge Brun in the 70th minute of play. In the 74th minute, Åke Ekelund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Eleven Nation Army fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Daniel Hagedorn who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Qian Xing Wei when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Viggo Lundkvist struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Alf Tempel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eleven Nation Army. Daniel Hagedorn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Daniel Hagedorn kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. In the 95th match minute, Eleven Nation Army was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otto Budjana to maneuver through the defense. Qian Xing Wei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Hagedorn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Rapid Wien players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Eleven Nation Army.
