An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 39th minute of play forced Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's goalkeeper Miroslaw Basaik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felix Montenegro took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Miroslaw Basaik. Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's Miroslaw Basaik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin from getting a goal against them. 65 minutes into the match, Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Miroslaw Basaik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanislaw Siembab in the 70th minute of play. Miroslaw Basaik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 77th minute. After 78 minutes Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Miroslaw Basaik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 94th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miroslaw Basaik. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristian Sancho ran back to his position shaking his head. 96 minutes into the match, Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Miroslaw Basaik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecuador played a much better game than Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin and deserved their victory. The Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
