Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Tomás Portugal started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. A sloppy throw-in by Primitivo Andino in the 2nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Sporting Clube Patrício's Alişan Bağışhan. In the 3rd minute, Bento Souto fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After some careless play in the Sporting Clube Patrício defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ademar Azevedo. The Sporting Clube Patrício fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ademar Azevedo should have stopped the shot. Ademar Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the game, Primitivo Andino threw the ball into play from the sideline. Sporting Clube Patrício's Alişan Bağışhan quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Primitivo Andino hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Primitivo Andino made in the 24th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Daniel Zorita immediately put the ball in play. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Zarco Lameiras took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Julio Vera to make any attempt to save it. Primitivo Andino got a throw-in 31 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Felix Montenegro. Ademar Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 32nd minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube Patrício's Zarco Lameiras sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ademar Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Saelices, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Sporting Clube Patrício's Alişan Bağışhan got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 43rd minute of the game Primitivo Andino made a throw-in which Felix Montenegro played forward. After 47 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ademar Azevedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Ademar Azevedo made a huge save. Bento Souto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sporting Clube Patrício's Valter Cardoso was substituted for Matei Gafița. After having played for 63 minutes, Tomás Portugal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sporting Clube Patrício's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomás Portugal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomás Portugal went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Teodoro Onofre hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After 70 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gisbert. 72 minutes into the game, Tomás Portugal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sporting Clube Patrício's Manuel Lages managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Camilo Gisbert in the 83 minute of the game. Binne Koppermann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Teodoro Onofre took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Julio Vera. Ecuador's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ademar Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Sporting Clube Patrício were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
