Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edmundo Espiga started the match with the kick off. When Alfonso Ugarte's Cenan Yılkan in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Honduras's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celso de Carvalho saved Alfonso Ugarte from getting behind. Lautaro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Ubelteso Escandàn sent off a good shot on target. Luca Espinar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celso de Carvalho having to interfere. Honduras's Christian Sancho managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Roland Treceño in the 17 minute of the game. After some careless play in the Alfonso Ugarte defense, Sebastian Villa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celso de Carvalho. The Alfonso Ugarte fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celso de Carvalho should have stopped the shot. Valentín Carvallo charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valentín Carvallo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Valentín Carvallo hit a great ball. Edmundo Espiga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 28th minute, Christian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 30 played minutes Alfonso Ugarte got a freekick which was hit by Gabrio Barzana. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cenan Yılkan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atauri Urquiaga hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Celso de Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Tafalla in the 37th minute of play forced Alfonso Ugarte's goalkeeper Celso de Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Alfonso Ugarte's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edmundo Espiga was slow to take the kick. During this time Honduras's players had a chance to rest. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Moises Tafalla during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honesto Idiaquez in the 42nd minute of play. If Luca Espinar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Gabrio Barzana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cenan Yılkan made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Alfonso Ugarte's Honesto Idiaquez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lautaro Navarro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Celso de Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 56th minute of play. Alfonso Ugarte's Celso de Carvalho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Alfonso Ugarte from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Villa in the 63rd minute of play forced Alfonso Ugarte's goalkeeper Celso de Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honduras's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edmundo Espiga in the 64th minute. Edmundo Espiga made a great header on Honduras's corner, it was just that Alfonso Ugarte's Celso de Carvalho managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cenan Yılkan in the 66th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute, Honesto Idiaquez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alfonso Ugarte fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Honesto Idiaquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfonso Ugarte's Celso de Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso de Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celso de Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 82nd minute of play. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cenan Yılkan in the 85th minute of the match. Honduras's attentive Esteban Carvallo managed to snatch the ball when Roland Treceño made a throw-in in the 87th minute of the game. Níels Nesta kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Alfonso Ugarte were victorious despite being under pressure from Honduras for much of the match.
