Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Placido Patxi kicked off to start the match. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Suárez Yasin having to interfere. In the 14th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Suárez Yasin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ezequiel Onbera in the 18th minute. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Placido Patxi, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Placido Patxi came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Placido Patxi in the 24th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Placido Patxi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Julio Vera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Suárez Yasin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 33rd minute of play. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Espinillo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. In the 38th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Suárez Yasin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After 63 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Arias. Ezequiel Onbera struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Espinillo. When Espinillo's Placido Patxi in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. 73 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Placido Patxi came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Suárez Yasin made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Placido Patxi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. Espinillo's Suárez Yasin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 82nd minute of play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Suárez Yasin quite easily take care of the ball. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Suárez Yasin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Fernando Garin kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Espinillo defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Suárez Yasin. The Espinillo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Suárez Yasin should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Placido Patxi in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Espinillo throughout the match.
