Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sabino Leitão kicked off to start the match. 14 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ştefan Zub was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 23rd minute of play forced Mirante da Portela's goalkeeper Ştefan Zub to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ştefan Zub showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 27th minute of the match. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mirante da Portela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Babacar Diaby got free with Julio Vera in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 46th match minute, Mirante da Portela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romão Araújo to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita, 47 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ştefan Zub breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mirante da Portela's Armindo Silveira got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Ştefan Zub in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Babacar Diaby in the 57th minute of play. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ştefan Zub having to interfere. Armindo Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Mirante da Portela's Honorato Vilela got a free kick in the 64th minute. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Ştefan Zub made a huge save. Ştefan Zub made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. After 71 minutes Mirante da Portela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Juan Sebastián Puig almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mirante da Portela's Ştefan Zub did a great save. In the 74th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ştefan Zub was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 77 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sabino Leitão, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 86th minute, Romão Araújo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute, Hilário Infante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th match minute, Mirante da Portela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorato Vilela to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great ball. Teófilo Vilanova recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Mirante da Portela supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ecuador's performance. The match ended with a win for Ecuador.
