Korneliusz Rasimowicz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tomás Beltran showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 17 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sobrecastell UD's Antimo Espinosa got a free kick in the 40th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Ajax Poland's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Beltran came free, but Korneliusz Rasimowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eugeniusz Poniewaz might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over César Suarez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sobrecastell UD fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ajax Poland had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
