Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Richard Trancoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Richard Trancoso. Richard Trancoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 12th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 18th minute. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Felix Montes advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-3 in the 18th minute. Primitivo Andino scored 0-4 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Richard Trancoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Richard Trancoso didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-5 in the ordered_time% minute. Cristian Sancho might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Richard Trancoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Richard Trancoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Richard Trancoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 35th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, SRP-Laguna's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Richard Trancoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Trancoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Richard Trancoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Walmyr Cavalcante was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Richard Trancoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 57 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Richard Trancoso. SRP-Laguna's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-9. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Trancoso having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Luis Andino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-10. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind SRP-Laguna's goalkeeper Richard Trancoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, SRP-Laguna's goalkeeper Richard Trancoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Cristian Sancho took a quick shot and it went in 0-11 without a chance for Richard Trancoso to make any attempt to save it. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Richard Trancoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 75 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. SRP-Laguna's Richard Trancoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save SRP-Laguna from getting a goal against them. 83 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-13. Richard Trancoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agustín Saelices got free with Richard Trancoso in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the SRP-Laguna defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Richard Trancoso. The SRP-Laguna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Richard Trancoso should have stopped the shot. In the 91st minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Richard Trancoso. SRP-Laguna's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-15. In the 95th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Richard Trancoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-16. Ecuador played a much better game than SRP-Laguna and deserved their victory. The SRP-Laguna players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
