Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Rodriguez in the 27th minute of play. Sαηgrε Azuɭ's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jonas Ordono in the 28th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 29th minute of the game. One of Venezuela:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sαηgrε Azuɭ:s goal. 30 minutes into the game, Jonas Ordono cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lionel-Andrés Messias in the 34th minute of play. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artemio Nesto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Lionel-Andrés Messias tried to sneak it across the goal line. Conrado Rodriguez struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sαηgrε Azuɭ. Lionel-Andrés Messias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Conrado Rodriguez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Rodriguez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Lionel-Andrés Messias struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sαηgrε Azuɭ. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After 76 minutes of play, Sαηgrε Azuɭ's Cirilo Virila made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Orzaize, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 84 minutes into the game, Sαηgrε Azuɭ's Cirilo Virila nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cirilo Virila in the 87th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sαηgrε Azuɭ walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
