Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave POLI TIMISOARA the free kick. In the 18th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Mei Yi Xi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. In the 34th minute of the game Marcelito Pajazo made a throw-in which Eduard Zgabei played forward. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Mei Yi Xi tried to sneak it across the goal line. POLI TIMISOARA's Mihai Domuță played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 40th minute of play. Cosmin Harbuz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

The wind increased when Mei Yi Xi made the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mei Yi Xi in the 51st minute of the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mei Yi Xi in the 53rd minute of play. When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Mei Yi Xi sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The audience was convinced that Mei Yi Xi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game.
