After taking down the ball on Lions United's corner Gao Cheng Yun fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Georg Hagberg quite easily take care of the ball. Many of Ágætis Byrjun's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ágætis Byrjun may have spent more time on the ball, but Lions United were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
