Samantha Farhat started the match with the kick off. Dženan Ortaš got a throw-in 4 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Mats De Ligt. 7 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Farik Gagula narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 8th minute. A collision led to Dobrinja FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Xabat Miras hit a great ball. Dobrinja FC were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Peru's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Samantha Farhat took the corner. When Milagros Fraga came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milagros Fraga couldn't finish the play. In the 25th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efraim Gilabert to maneuver through the defense. Farik Gagula showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. Peru's Luz Tejedor was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Farik Gagula in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to Dobrinja FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Mili Nesimović hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 31st minute of play forced Dobrinja FC's goalkeeper Farik Gagula to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mats De Ligt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Rolando Noboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 36th minute of play forced Dobrinja FC's goalkeeper Farik Gagula to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mili Nesimović in the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Mats De Ligt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 43 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Julian Murillo. In the 45th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Farik Gagula saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. With 55 minutes on the clock, Alan Vajić commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Dobrinja FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 55th minute. Penalty! 0-1 came through a penalty shot after 57 played minutes, when Peru:s Luz Tejedor calmly waited for Dobrinja FC:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. Farik Gagula made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Milagros Fraga sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Peru booed when Dobrinja FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dženan Ortaš didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dobrinja FC made a substitution. Timoteo Frisco replaced Mili Nesimović. A collision led to Dobrinja FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Dženan Ortaš hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Đorđe Rekibović in the 70th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samantha Farhat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mats De Ligt hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute, Teofilo Terciero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Farik Gagula made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafael Gallo in the 88th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Rafael Gallo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Farik Gagula, 0-2. Farik Gagula came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Milagros Fraga. But to his dismay, Milagros Fraga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Peru's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
