With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 21 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Anton Axelsson who took care of the corner kick. Beat Vid showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 45th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bento Chandeiro to strike the kick off in the second half. A nice corner shot did that Anton Axelsson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a little luck, Aioros FC's Beat Vid got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Montenegro got free with Beat Vid in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 64 minutes into the match, Bento Chandeiro notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute.
