Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Serdar Gulson made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute, Dudin Suartama hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Loïc Payen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 7th minute of the match. If Qiu Xi Wen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Lëtzebuerg's Serdar Gulson. But to his dismay, Serdar Gulson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 17th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loïc Payen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Qiu Xi Wen in the 20th minute. FC Lëtzebuerg's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Qiu Xi Wen in the 21st minute. The corner led FC Lëtzebuerg's Qiu Xi Wen to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Sandro Baylon might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sandro Baylon ran back to his position shaking his head. 22 minutes into the match, FC Lëtzebuerg's Sandro Baylon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Serdar Gulson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 26th minute of play forced FC Lëtzebuerg's goalkeeper Loïc Payen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute Serdar Gulson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Camilo Gisbert hit a great ball. Erubiel Erasto came free with the goalkeeper in the 39th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Julio Vera could save by the left post. Julio Vera didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 39th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serdar Gulson in the 43rd minute of play. After 46 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Loïc Payen was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

FC Lëtzebuerg's Freddy Hirsch was substituted for Manuel Ferrara. Tim Tudor kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. The supporters of Ecuador booed when FC Lëtzebuerg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dudin Suartama didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 59 minutes, Serdar Gulson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Lëtzebuerg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serdar Gulson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Serdar Gulson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Daniel Zorita in the 66thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Loïc Payen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. FC Lëtzebuerg's Loïc Payen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save FC Lëtzebuerg from getting a goal against them. After having played for 78 minutes, Serdar Gulson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Lëtzebuerg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serdar Gulson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Loïc Payen made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serdar Gulson, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serdar Gulson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Loïc Payen. Loïc Payen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 97th minute Serdar Gulson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serdar Gulson struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Lëtzebuerg. FC Lëtzebuerg succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ecuador had controlled the match.
