After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Mancebo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iwan Grocholski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Iwan Grocholski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Iwan Grocholski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Joel Gaona took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iwan Grocholski. Iwan Grocholski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Alberto Zañartu, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francisco Alberto Zañartu's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mexico walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
