Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kajar Püss started the match with the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 3 minutes, Julio Vera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 4th minute Grimório were awarded a corner. Kajar Püss went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 16th minute, Daniel Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kusti Jaas hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Kajar Püss kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. After 25 played minutes Grimório got a freekick which was hit by Kusti Jaas. Wawrzyniec Niedziela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kajar Püss got free with Julio Vera in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 29thth minute of the game Kajar Püss who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Grimório getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Aivar Kaalep hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wawrzyniec Niedziela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grimório's Wawrzyniec Niedziela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Grimório's Wawrzyniec Niedziela. Wawrzyniec Niedziela was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alo Ülipikk in the 39th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 41st minute of play forced Grimório's goalkeeper Wawrzyniec Niedziela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tõnis Kaldvee received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wawrzyniec Niedziela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Felix Montenegro struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Wawrzyniec Niedziela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. 55 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Kajar Püss came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tõnis Kaldvee recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alo Ülipikk scored 2-1 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 61st minute of the match, Felix Montenegro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Wawrzyniec Niedziela was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Alo Ülipikk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Alo Ülipikk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Grimório made a substitution. Jack Walroth replaced Tõnis Kaldvee. In the 74th minute Alo Ülipikk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Cristian Sancho took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Wawrzyniec Niedziela to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Daniel Zorita hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kajar Püss in the 85th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Wawrzyniec Niedziela in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 93 minutes into the match, Kajar Püss notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew the final whistle, Grimório could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
