A collision led to FORZA BRESCIA getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Misael Solera hit a great ball. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Donato Garcia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. 21 minutes in the game, Xorxe Perpiñán fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Julio Vera having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. FORZA BRESCIA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Caetano Mudarra in the 52nd minute. Caetano Mudarra made a great header on FORZA BRESCIA's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Donato Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Donato Garcia made a huge save. Felix Montenegro's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Donato Garcia on his right side and into the goal. 57 minutes into the game it was 1-3. In the 64th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Garcia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, FORZA BRESCIA's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Montenegro came free, but Donato Garcia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camilo Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. FORZA BRESCIA's Geremia Garate was substituted for Xorxe Perpiñán. After 70 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gisbert. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita came free and shot a quick shot against goal 72 minutes in the game, fortunately Donato Garcia had problems saving as it came toward the left post. With a little luck, FORZA BRESCIA's Donato Garcia got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. FORZA BRESCIA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Daniel Zorita scored to the left of an out of position Donato Garcia, making the score, 1-4. The FORZA BRESCIA fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
