Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Apocalipse FC's Marcos Rodrigues started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Apocalipse FC's Marcos Rodrigues got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcos Rodrigues might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacobo Nores. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcos Rodrigues ran back to his position shaking his head. After 6 minutes of play, Paraguay's Jaime Pardo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gianluigi Buffon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marcos Rodrigues had several of the Paraguay's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 12 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Jacobo Nores as he didn't even see the shot coming. Apocalipse FC's Marcos Rodrigues got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Marcos Rodrigues put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jacobo Nores. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Hector Covarrubias hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute, Ruy Tinoco made a precise shot to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Hector Covarrubias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gianluigi Buffon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jaime Pardo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Hector Covarrubias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Primitivo Escribano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Gianluigi Buffon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Paraguay getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Hector Covarrubias hit a great ball. The Apocalipse FC fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when Apocalipse FC's Marcos Rodrigues looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 68th match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Escribano to maneuver through the defense. After 70 played minutes Apocalipse FC got a freekick which was hit by Nico Alcântara. Ruy Tinoco hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute, Alan Campos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gianluigi Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime Pardo in the 80th minute of the match. In the 81st minute Paraguay were awarded a corner. Jaime Pardo went to the cornerflag to take it. After 82 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Raul Venegas. Jaime Pardo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Gianluigi Buffon made a huge save. The Apocalipse FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
