A collision led to Pegaso getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Siro Ongile hit a great ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Espiga made a kick off. Moises Tafalla was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 52nd minute. Honduras's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Pegaso's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Sebastian Villa scored to the left of an out of position Silvestre Toribio, making the score, 2-2. 92 minutes into the match, Sebastian Villa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Silvestre Toribio, 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 97th minute of play forced Pegaso's goalkeeper Silvestre Toribio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honduras's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
