Rafa Alves received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benito Sanz came out and tried to block the shot, but Rafa Alves slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. After 8 minutes, Rafa Alves made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, MUSHIBA FC's 郭俊景 got a free kick in the 14th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafa Alves got free with Benito Sanz in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 27 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafa Alves. 29 minutes into the match, Rafa Alves dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Sanz, 4-0. Rafa Alves struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MUSHIBA FC. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by 郭俊景 in the 36th minute. Rafa Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Rafa Alves tried to sneak it across the goal line. Abel Carballo charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abel Carballo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 45 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Abel Carballo. After having played for 46 minutes, Rafa Alves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MUSHIBA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafa Alves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 郭俊景 to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, MUSHIBA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaká Arruda to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 58th minute, Rafa Alves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MUSHIBA FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when MUSHIBA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Cristofol didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 65 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Ferrant. 66 minutes into the match, Rafa Alves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafa Alves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Rafa Alves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Rafa Alves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 郭俊景 in the 73rd minute of play. When Eliseo Noboa fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Eliseo Noboa a yellow card for diving instead. After 75 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Noboa. 郭俊景 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Alan Moruga fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Alan Moruga a yellow card for diving instead. Rafa Alves struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Deivid Capixaba charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Deivid Capixaba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Deivid Capixaba hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafa Alves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In a very dangerous position, a player in Costa Rica fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. MUSHIBA FC had played much better football throughout.
