Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven Vollander in the 8th minute of the match. Sven Vollander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 13th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hayrullah İrfanoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 15 played minutes Carno FK got a freekick which was hit by Porfirio Olarte. Hayrullah İrfanoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute Agustín Saelices shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hayrullah İrfanoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The attack was good, but when Agustín Saelices in the 30th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 33 minutes into the game, Sven Vollander was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carno FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Carno FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven Vollander didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute Sven Vollander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 36th minute of play forced Carno FK's goalkeeper Hayrullah İrfanoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Sven Vollander tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Sven Vollander sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot by Cameron Pruett from long distance, 44 minutes into the match, got Julio Vera's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven Vollander in the 46th minute of play. Victoro Soto hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The wind increased when Sven Vollander made the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şenel Rafet in the 55th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victoro Soto in the 58th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Carno FK's Cameron Pruett got a free kick in the 58th minute. The audience was convinced that Sven Vollander's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Cristian Sanchos short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Hayrullah İrfanoğlu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven Vollander in the 67th minute of play. Carno FK's Victoro Soto got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ecuador were furious when Antonio Arias was red carded, 74 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Antonio Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Carno FK made a substitution. İdris Akgün replaced Cameron Pruett. After 76 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Arias. In the 77th minute Şenel Rafet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Hayrullah İrfanoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven Vollander, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 88th minute Victoro Soto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 89 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victoro Soto in the 92nd minute of play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven Vollander in the 97th minute of play.
