Ordono Balda scored 1-0 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 15 minutes into the match, E L C O K O F C ® E V G ®'s goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Lucas Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucas Duarte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after E L C O K O F C ® E V G ®'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. Lucas Duarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Luca Rouco got a free kick in the 27th minute. Aurelian Dinu hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, E L C O K O F C ® E V G ®'s Dante Lacasa threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Radamel-Falcao García, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. E L C O K O F C ® E V G ®'s Lucas Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 38th minute of play. 45 minutes into the game, Ordono Balda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. E L C O K O F C ® E V G ®'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. After a rather tough play, E L C O K O F C ® E V G ®'s Ordono Balda got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute, Mexico's Facundo Cadaval seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Facundo Cadaval the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Mexico protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Facundo Cadaval had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 47th minute, Facundo Cadaval hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Lando Lavet managed to get in a good position for a shot. The wind increased when Lautaro Mancebo made the kick off in the second half. If Luca Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radamel-Falcao García in the 61st minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute of the game Macos Graciani made a throw-in which Joel Gaona played forward. 64 minutes into the match, Luca Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucas Duarte. E L C O K O F C ® E V G ®'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luca Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Lucas Duarte made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Ordono Balda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. In the 77th minute E L C O K O F C ® E V G ® were awarded a corner. Lando Lavet went to the cornerflag to take it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Lucas Duarte in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 82 minutes into the game, Radamel-Falcao García cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Dante Lacasa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 87th match minute, E L C O K O F C ® E V G ® was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Menendo to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lucas Duarte was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Mexico's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
