Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ordono Balda got the match started through his kick off. A throw-in in the 2nd minute of the game was made by Camilo Gisbert with Luis Andino as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 4 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Radamel-Falcao García came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucas Duarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 6th minute, Luis Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig got a free kick in the 9th minute. Lucas Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 11th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Duarte having to interfere. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ordono Balda, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 24th minute, Camilo Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Lucas Duarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of E L C O K O F C ® E V G ® booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 35 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to E L C O K O F C ® E V G ® getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Haroldo Menendo hit a great ball. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lucas Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute, Radamel-Falcao García reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Julio Vera. The goal made the score 1-0. 44 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Radamel-Falcao García. In the 48th play minute Ordono Balda came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Julio Vera. 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lucas Duarte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 53rd minute. In the 60th minute, Radamel-Falcao García made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 64thth minute of the game Radamel-Falcao García who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 71st minute Radamel-Falcao García shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radamel-Falcao García in the 75th minute of play. After 76 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gisbert. In the 87th minute Radamel-Falcao García shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radamel-Falcao García in the 90th minute of the match. In the 98th minute Ordono Balda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
