Metal Juniors's Francisco Nesor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Metal Juniors from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Skånes stolthet! defense, Martín Palermo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hugo Bergqvist. The Skånes stolthet! fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugo Bergqvist should have stopped the shot. In the 14th minute of the match, Timmy Clementsson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Francisco Nesor saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Hugo Bergqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martín Palermo in the 15th minute of the match. Hugo Bergqvist came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Metal Juniors's Martín Palermo. But to his dismay, Martín Palermo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After some careless play in the Metal Juniors defense, Timmy Clementsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Francisco Nesor. The Metal Juniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Francisco Nesor should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Martín Palermo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hugo Bergqvist was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iulian Miu in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francisco Nesor saved Metal Juniors from getting behind. Martín Palermo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the match, Martín Palermo notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Skånes stolthet!'s Hugo Bergqvist. Hugo Bergqvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Francisco Nesor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timmy Clementsson in the 44th minute of play. The Skånes stolthet! fans' excitement grew in the 48th match minute when Skånes stolthet!'s Iulian Miu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Martín Palermo made a kick off. After having played for 57 minutes, Nemesio Isusko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Metal Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nemesio Isusko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hugo Bergqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nemesio Isusko in the 57th minute of the match. Francisco Nesor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sigvard Lange in the 61st minute of the match. 70 minutes into the game, David Accam was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Skånes stolthet!'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Metal Juniors the free kick. A collision led to Skånes stolthet! getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. David Accam hit a great ball. In the 71st match minute, Skånes stolthet! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Accam to maneuver through the defense. Metal Juniors's Francisco Nesor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Accam in the 76th minute of play. Iulian Miu kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Skånes stolthet!'s goalkeeper Hugo Bergqvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hugo Bergqvist was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sergio Dennis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-4 in the 83 minute of play. Sergio Dennis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hugo Bergqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Metal Juniors's Francisco Nesor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Accam in the 89th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Metal Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when David Accam came free, but Francisco Nesor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute Sergio Dennis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Bergqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisco Nesor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iulian Miu in the 96th minute of play. Hugo Bergqvist came out of the goal in the 98th minute to try and stop a shot by Metal Juniors's Sergio Dennis. But to his dismay, Sergio Dennis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-5. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Metal Juniors walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
